Introducing the Katanga WAW

The Katanga WAW is a classic and mature design. It holds a very unique place in the velomobile market as the only model that can accomodate both front and rear internally geared drives including the popular Pinion gearbox and Rohloff hub. In addition the WAW can be delivered from the factory with either a middrive or hub drive e-assist. No other model can boast the option for a hub drive.

Other convenient features include the removable nose and tail for convenient maintenance access, very few proprietary velomobile parts, meaning replacement parts are more widely available, and very good quality control. In fact, the same assembler has built the WAW for the past decade. The WAW boasts an easily removed full hood that can be stored behind the seat while riding should you need to pull it out for weather protection. The WAW can be configured in a variety of ways varying from the sport variant to the comfort varient with compliant suspension, or as a plush e-assisted velomobile.
