1.6mm Velomobile Brake Cable Clamp

If you've ever had to adjust the cable stop on drum brakes, you know what an unpleasant experience it is. It's quite a trick to hold the cable stop in place without chewing up the edges, and the cable doesn't come out looking too good either.

Velomobile SH found the perfect solution: the V4A. This clamp allows the brake cable to easily be secured. It is in two parts. When tightening the screws, the body can be countered with a 10mm open-end wrench.

In V4A, it is resistant to salt water in winter so it won't rust.

When installing these cable stops, be sure to carefully test your brakes and ensure these clamps are firmly and properly installed. If you have not previously adjusted your brakes, it is advisable to seek the services of a qualified dealer in your area. Northland Velo.nl does not currently offer installation services.

*Roughly 5nm of torque is sufficient for the cable clamp. The bolts are stainless steel. Overtightening of the bolts will lead to stripping of the bolt heads.
