From time to time there are velomobiles with sticky brake handles. No matter how much you adjust, the handle sticks and the brakes drag. Unlike most bikes that have a return spring in their brake handles, velomobiles with tillers do not. This has been particularly noteworthy in older velomobiles with 70mm drums. This brake return spring as designed by Axel Herfurth at Velomobile SH fixes this problem.
Installation instructions:
Please note that a brake test must be carried out after installation. Also an emergency stop. The Bowden cable of the brake may need to be adjusted.
